I liked this discussion of the refusal of the journey. And I found your story of letting go of being wronged as a particularly practical example of how we refuse the call.
I also really liked your butterfly meditation it was a beautiful contemplation.
Love this! Very timely and lucid discussion of the refusal. When I first learned of it, I felt liberated from something I couldn’t name. To know it’s an integral part of the journey is to have self-compassion. How could I blame or shame myself for that part of me working hard to keep me safe? I think of it as similar to weight training. The refusals are necessary reps that build strength, confidence, trust and endurance for the next stages of the journey.
Loved this. Letting go of so much including grievances almost becomes a call for reinvention of who we think we are, an identity question that scares us!

Thank you for your comment, Michael! It’s much appreciated!
It is good to be courageous in our day to day lives.

I agree totally! I think knowing or having the expectation that all these stages are part of the process of change is so helpful! Thank you, Julie!

Well done post!
Thank you, Justin!
Even inaction can sometimes bring us to where we want, to just wait it out a bit. Thank you for bringing this to our attention so poignantly.
